What is a browser?

A browser is a software program that provides the window for viewing the pages on the Internet.

Some browsers are:
Internet Explorer | Apple Safari | Opera
Mozilla Firefox | AOL | Lynx (text only)

One challenge web designers have is to
accomodate as many browsers as possible as
they interpret pages differently. I found a new problem on my animation page which I promptly fixed to accomodate Firefox.
